(More customer reviews)When we put this greenhouse kit together, we had our doubts. We prepared a wood foundation for it, perfectly sized and leveled. The kit was ridiculously complicated, with several of the pre-drilled holes in the plastic positioned slightly off. Not too much of a problem... you can drill new holes in the correct place. It took a few days of part-time work to put it together, some of the process fairly efficient, some very tedious. (After spending hours trying to cram the window molding into the frames, you will understand).
The final touch was almost comical... the design leaves gaps around most of the joints, so they provide you with strips of foam rubber that you cut into small pieces and shove into the holes.
The louvered window was either mis-manufactured or poorly designed (the louvers are too short to fit into their holders at each end) so every time we open the window the louvers fall out.
After a year, the bad design of this greenhouse is really showing. The plastic is sagging and warping. A lot of that window molding that we spent so much time on simply drops out when the plastic beam sags away from the windows. The foam to used patch the holes fell out and we finally gave up trying to keep it in place. There are places where the windows and the frames aren't even touching, leaving gaps, because the beams have bent.
In our case, we are tearing it down soon (if it doesn't fall down first) and building a new one. A lot of money wasted...
Oh, by the way... we spent a lot of money on the gutter kit for the thing, too. It is worse than the greenhouse itself. It doesn't catch hardly any of the water, and what it does, leaks out. You could get some inexpensive plastic gutters from Home Depot and adapt them to it. They would work far superior and be a fraction of the price.
