(More customer reviews)I was disappointed in this product for a couple of reason.First the description is incorrect.There is no headphone jack for private listening.The coil, which must swivel for adjustment, is all plastic without any washers to prevent wear.The arm support is hard plastic and is somewhat uncomfortable.The whole item looks like something you would get from inside a cereal box. For $50 as a Gold Box item it was still over-priced.
The operation of the unit is even less impressive.It could not find a penny 2 inches below the surface of a potted plant (in a plastic pot).I always wanted this more for finding the roofing nails in my yard after the roofers tossed shingles and nails to the ground last summer than anything else, but other than a novelty toy for some kid, I don't see myself hanging on to this one.Sorry Amazon.
