(More customer reviews)This item is pictured on the ad with an open coil.The box received has a picture of the same open coil.When you open the box, "surprise" it is an enclosed coil.I provided info to update the picture, box and cataloging of this item, but that was rejected.This is a good detector for a great price, however, if you are set on an open coil (as I was sure that I would get), you will/may be highly disappointed.Please petition Amazon and Bounty Hunter (I have done both) to change the ad and the picture on the box, so people are not "mislead" by the advertising for this item.Again, the detector works okay, however, I have a spray dye marker kit that just will not work on the enclosed coil.Buy with this in mind.
